What He Would Bring to Chelsea

His pace is genuinely frightening; it is the kind that defensive coaches lose sleep over. He is equally comfortable on either flank, which gives any manager tactical flexibility. There are also fitness questions. Dembélé has a well-documented history of injury problems throughout his career. Any club making a significant investment in the winger will need to be satisfied that those issues are behind him.
Dembélé to Chelsea is an intriguing story with genuine substance behind it. The player wants the move, Chelsea has the resources, and the football logic stacks up on both sides.
